The SNPRC is accepting applications for funding in support of pilot studies.

The long-term objective of SNPRC Pilot Studies Program is to foster the development of programs, new models, new techniques, and new technologies that will lead to major NIH-funded grants that support biomedical research with nonhuman primates.  The SNPRC Pilot Studies Program makes funding available through two mechanisms:

  1. SNRPC Grants-in-Aid of Pilot Studies
  2. SNPRC Director’s Discretionary Small Research Grants
Pilot Studies funded under either of these two mechanisms are expected to make use of SNPRC nonhuman primate resources.  Nonhuman primate resources include SNPRC nonhuman primates, biological materials (e.g., blood, tissues, cells, DNA, etc.) collected from nonhuman primates by SNPRC or affiliated researchers, and selected demographic, health, and research data from SNPRC nonhuman primates.
